Running can yield measurable results, in time and in distance, and that's important when you're setting goals. For example, when I first started running, I couldn't make it 1/4 mile without stopping, and this spring, four years into running, I ran my first marathon β€” 26 miles! It's so wonderful to be able to track your progress!
